As a company we are taking significant strides in enhancing our design efficiency and embracing cutting-edge technology by up-skilling our engineers.

Our initiatives are aimed at improving design workflows, reducing time and cost pressures, and offering added value to clients.

So let’s look at how we are doing just that.

Enhancing Engineering Skills through Training

Forsspac are currently providing 3D Revit training to all of our design engineers. This initiative is part of our development strategy to embrace technology and improve design efficiency.

The training aims to achieve several key benefits:

  1. Engineers can express their design work directly in 3D.

  2. Virtual elimination of red line mark-ups between engineers and CAD staff, saving time.

  3. Better interfacing with clients whose engineers are familiar with 3D models.

  4. Embracing design plug-ins to speed up repetitive design tasks, such as air duct sizing and electrical system analysis.

These advancements are expected to benefit our clients by offering added value methods of working that help relieve time and cost pressures.

Innovative Design and AI Integration

In addition to 3D Revit training, we are also embracing AI in several ways. Engineers who can work directly in 3D are well-positioned to start using AI-powered design tools or plug-ins as they become available, this is something we support.

Internally, Forsspac has set a target for each department to take a current business process and find a way to simplify and speed it up using an AI-powered tool. For instance, our marketing department have started utilising AI to generate informational videos which is a practical implementation of AI.

At Forsspac, we're excited to provide this training to our engineers and embrace new technologies to bring even more value to our valued clients.
